The Receptionist is the face of the casino and as such we are looking for someone with a great personality, smart appearance and who enjoys interacting with the public. Previous experience within a casino or in a similar role is not essential as full training will be given.

Shifts will vary from 8am right through to 6.30am so flexibility in availability times is essential as well as the ability to travel to and from, due to poor transport links within some of these hours.

Benefits include a free car-park is provided if you drive to work, subsidised staff meals when on shift and a discount on food when off shift. Plus we are closed on Christmas Day.

Must be 18+ due to licensing laws.

We are looking for people to help us deliver a memorable experience for our customers. The ideal candidates will have great customer service skills and ensure all games are dealt efficiently and in accordance with Gaming regulations.

The Opera House Casino in Scarborough has the advantage of being located not only on the Yorkshire coast with its award winning sandy beaches, but also a short distance away from the famous North Yorkshire Moors.

This family run, independent casino has been operating for the last 11 years in a prime town centre location and is surrounded by up and coming leisure developments.

We will accept applications from Croupiers & Inspectors so long as the minimum standards are met.

Minimum requirements:

  • Ability to deal American Roulette, Blackjack and Three Card Poker (Texas Hold’em an advantage but not essential)
  • A minimum of 6 months dealing experience or completion of a recent UK based training school.
  • A current Personal Function Licence (PFL)
  • A willingness to relocate to Scarborough, or to live within reasonable commuting distance.
  • A good command of the English language.

In return we offer:

  • A 38 hour week based on working 4 and 5 nights per week (Part-time may be available, please ask upon application).
