Current Entry Requirements

Please be aware that, in order to assist with the Test & Trace program, you are currently required to register your details at Reception, and become a member, before entering Opera House Casino.  

 

 

 

WHEN THINGS RETURN TO "NORMAL"...

There are no membership requirements for entry to Opera House Casino for over 21's prior to 2am. After this time, you will be asked a few simple registration details. All visitors aged 21 and under must provide photographic ID at all times to become members.  

The minimum age for entry is 18 years, however Opera House Casino operates a Challenge 21 policy. Customers may be asked to register their personal details and provide valid photo ID to prove their age and may be refused entry if they cannot provide such proof when requested.

The Casino cannot be held responsible for the loss of a customer’s property whilst on the premises, whether the property has been entrusted to the care of the casino or the loss arises through negligence or otherwise. In the interest of safety, customers may be asked to offer any luggage, bags, etc. for inspection. Large bags will need to be left in the cloakroom.

Membership is exclusively for that customer; if customers allow their membership to be used by any other person to gain entry may themselves be excluded.

Please be aware that, in order to comply with current gaming legislation, full membership, with valid photo I.D. (driving licence, passport or government issued I.D. card) is required for all cash transactions totalling in excess of £1400. This includes buying in at the gaming tables and electronic terminals, or cashing out winnings at the Bank.

How long do we keep hold of your information?

What rights do I have in relation to the personal data you hold about me?

How can I make a complaint about how you have handled my personal data or responded to a request to exercise my data subject rights?

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your personal data or how we have responded to a request to exercise your data subject rights, you have the right to ask for an internal review.  An internal review will consider whether or not your personal data and/or request were handled appropriately, in line with applicable data protection laws and regulations.

Internal reviews will be carried out by the Management Team. We aim to respond within 28 working days of the receipt of the request for an internal review.

Opera House Casino has two fabulous bars. The “Stage Bar” is large and vibrant, overlooking the gaming floor and offering great atmosphere together with a wide range of lagers, beers, ciders, wines, champagnes and spirits. The “Stalls Bar” is a smaller venue, offering a more intimate environment.

Bar/Floor Staff

Duties:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
  • To make sure that members receive the highest levels of service, courtesy and comfort

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred
  • Great sense of humour.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and upbeat attitude

Amusement Arcade Assistant

Shaws and Silver Dollar Amusements, located on Scarborough's South Bay, is a long established family amusement arcade that also includes an over 18's area. We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our team, offering the best customer experience and warm welcome.
